any personal tips on mounting a sun visor on the windscreen? i was going to go with the old tighten 4 screws on each side directly to the body, but has anyone got some tips on personal mods that ensure that it will never fly off?

ive got the whole visor and it has these kind of warped pieces of metal on the sides thats seem to fit over the roof channels. They have four holes drilled right through. Those what your talking about?

sound about right so get some masking tape and mask where ya going to put it so ya don't mark the paint also it makes it easyer to write where the holes go with a mate just hold it in place and mark than drill

you can get a bit of clear plastic tube as well and split it down the side to act as a buffer to stop scratching the paint slip it over the sharp edge on the sunvisor to fill in the gap when it sits on therain gutter
