Why
Being bog stock ,i rekon you would be better off getting the shafts rebushed and then have them rebuilt correctly ..cheaper and they work very well
when done properly..pm me if you want a place to do the job correctly
Failing that go with kad's.... in fact I'd still buy and install kad's if I had room in my budget... they do a lot of good on a stock 2L, and if ya
use big-valve heads (stock 1800 heads will do nicely as the valves are biggger than 2L ones), and put on a well-designed extractor zorst it becomes a
totally different motor!
It all depends upon ya budget more than anything.
thanks fellas, yeah kads are the go i think, but i need some idea of price and where to get a set from?, yeah my stock carbs are fine and in very good
working order just wanting to upgrade slightly (its the small things that count in my opinion). does anyone know where i can get my stock carbys
correctly setup etc in melbourne??
let me know
cheers
I'm saying nothing, as you know what I will recommend to you. :P
ahaha sorry pete, i wish my pocket approved lol, i wish, but this is really my only option atm, since my stock carbs are not really what im after so id prefer something else, but my choice is minimal as u can gather., i really need a set so i can get my bus on the road again.
