what size thermo fan should i use on the radiator in my beetle.
it will sit in the wheel well
i have been thinking 14" or 16", are these too big?

No such thing as too big. It has got a thermostat, after all. Use the biggest fan you can fit, but make sure you use a shroud as this increases the efficiency considerably.
