Having solved the riddles of the phantom ratios and codes I now have one final question regarding gearbox's----.
I decided to check to see just what gearbox I was actualy swopping out (for the 1500 going in) which, appart from having ratios more suited to a tractor, I thought I should know weeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllll the gearbox has no pre-fixing letters stamped thereon just a sequence of numbers.
The pan is a 62 and hence-- I think-- the gearbox also is a 62 sooooo-what strange masked gearbox would this likely be ????
