I'm in need of some realy good panel soundproofing stuff and I haven't got a clue what it's called or where I get it from the only thing I actualy
do know is that the stuff aint cheap and I think it's a PITA self adhesive one side -- can anyone help me out ??
Cheers , Al .
dynamat is pretty common but your right, very expensive.
I used some 6mm thick rubber and glued it on using contact adhesive.... a 10m x .6m x 6mm roll cost me $100.... alot cheaper than dynamat
if u are interested i got it from Graham Rubber in syd - 9637 7344

Give Sound Control P/L a ring here in Brisbane on 32684588 or go down to there factory @ 61 Links Ave Eagle Farm as they have a miriad of products to suit your purpose , but like you already know it won't be cheap but it beats the noise of a roaring set of webers etc on a along trip
make sure you steer clear of porous materials like felts, roof insulation etc that will hold water... they will eventually get wet and rust out your panels...
go to ya local radio installers they have all kinds of good shit
Thanks very much guys ---why do I get the feeling I'm not the first person to to be seeking a bit of peace and quiet Ho Ho Ho,
Cheers again,
