T5 wheels PCD
kombi kountry - May 2nd, 2007 at 10:23 AM

Does anyone know the PCD of the 16x6.5 steelies that come off the T5 transporter?

I've got a feeling that after the T4, the PCD/stud pattern changed from the traditional 5x112 to something around 5x117 - 5x120 and that the ET went to about 52.

Asking as was thinking of fitting a set to a T3

Thanks

you're right. They're different.
t4 is the same though.

Drums vs Discs....does this affect the fittment of wheels?

Wasn't aware there were 17" t5 steelies

no no no, T5 are different to T4, same as holden pattern, more wheel choice, 5 x 120 NOT 5 x 112.

16' and 17' steels are available

http://www.silicon2000.co.uk/wheelspec/

same as the R5 touareg which is 5 x 120 not 5 x 130

golf 5 pattern is different to golf 4 too, just to make it annoying.

Maybe i should just keep an eye out for some mercedes 16" steelies. there should be plenty of vito's steelies around the traps - only problem they've got a fairly high ET. At what size do spacers become dangerous (i.e. 20mm onwards)?
