Installing Baby seat in 1960's Beetle

Hello Everyone.
My first born child is just around the corner, and I currently own a 1960's (not sure what year exactly) VW Beetle (a red one). I was wondering if it is possible to safely install a baby seat in the car and how or who would do it for me? Thank you for any help.

It is possible, however you will not be able to have a person sitting in the passenger front seat, as that seat will have to be folded forward. The safest way is to remove the passenger front seat completely.

Ok that doesn't sound too bad, but do you know of someone who can perform this delicate operation?

Where are you?

I would suggest contacting your local motor service organisation RACV NRMA RACQ RAA etc. They will have contacts for authorised fitting technicians. Also places that sell baby capsules also should have contacts for authorised fitting technicians.
