hi guys ive been offered a type3 donk for my baja ,and ive been told that i can run it in standard form without the upright cooling system of the type 1 ,is this true ,,,thanx

NO you need to convert it to upright or add some ducting to allow air flow into the engine cooling system

the flayt engine cooling sucks from the rear and when your driving your car along it creatsa vacuum behind the car there for not allowing the engine to suck the cooling air into the fan area.

and they look like crap in a t1 and heavy !

im getting it for nothin ,but it needs rings ,ide like a porshe shroud setup but there as dear as poison ,i might look at running some ducting from off the rear guards and onto each side of the motor ,that might work ,,,,

a type 3 engine for nothing...

its called something different ,i said i might ,i dont know what to do yet ,plus theres stuff all type 1 around here that they dont want an arm and a leg for

i put one in my old baja converted easy just a dipstick change and a few bits but yeah go fot it or sell it here and buy a type1 wat eva
