anyone tried the dual port 1300 heads on a 1200 motor?

i don't think they will fit

I remember reading a VW hot up book years ago where they used 1600tp heads on a 1200. They flycut the heads about .100" to get the CR back up.

Evidently worked very well.

You would be better off fitting Twin Carbies that works well plenty of torque

Just thought Id give it a try since i had a spare pair of heads and a good bottom end.
