Who can tell me how I might check the operation of a coolant temperature sender on a engine management system.
Someone mentioned running the engine and measuring the resistance on the sender?

First you need to find the specs for that particular engine, and yes you are measuring resistance, some senders increase resistance with temp, and some decrease resistance with temp, so you need the specs.
