Afternoon!

I have two fuel filters on my type 3. One above the gearbox(good spot), teh other on the outlet of the fuel pump before the tee peice to each carb. I don't think that I need this second one. What do you think?

one under the gearbox is enough just remember to change it when required

Thanks Dave, just what I thought. It looks fairly new ~2000mi so I'll keep it as a spare. Now to do all the fuel lines.

i would use a small clamp on each of the fule lines out of the pump to the carby
and use some tie wire to hold it in position as the brass outlet pipes some times fly off

There are clamps on all ends and leaving the filter out after the pump will give me two less spots where losing hoses could happen.
