Help removing torque converter

so what is the trick getting a torque converter off a type 3 engine?
its got me stuffed!
any help appreciated!

it should have three or four bolts bolting it onto the flex-plate like most automatics

The auto uses a special crankcase that has a cut out at the bottom where the engine bolts to the transmission.

As above undo the three bolts through the hole in the bottom of the case then the engine should side out leaving the converter in the auto

ok...i think
is the engine the same as a normal engine, i've heard/read that cams are different and all sorts of things

just to make clear, above, so far i have removed the engine from the car and it is no longer on the gearbox either. It still has attached the flywheel and round 'torque converter' attached to it. how do i get that off. as above, the three bolts?

Yes...remove the 3 bolts.

remove the three bolts via the cut out at the bottom of the crankcase where the engine bolts to the transmission
