takis - December 13th, 2007 at 07:41 PM

after this oil leak appeared , im seriously thinking of purchasing a engine kit and case and doing a transplant.
Which brand of case would be better suited for mild performance??
Where can i get a case saved ready machined for 90.5 mm case from????

Either a genuine German dual relief case in good condition or a new Auto Linea alloy case.

Steer clear of Mexican or Brazil (not sure which) magnesium cases, their soft as butter.

looked on the web , what are people views of EMPI cases that are " strengthened"
or other universal cases??

any idea where i can buy one of the Auto Linear cases??
The sooner i can get one the sooner i can start machining and moding the case .

And what do you base this on??
The new mag brazilian cases are fine, never had a problem with one, I would only use an alloy case on a big stroker making big power.
