OK, so I'm not too clever, working behind the dash of the buggy (rekon a gyno has more room to work than this bugger) and managed to disconect the wires from the back of the tacho, prety sure there was one vacant conection, two "+" marks on the body, another marked "high" and another marked "low" which wires go where and how can I identify the correct wires. Mabe I'm thinking a trip to the orto lectrishun
always mark the wires and the drawing of the item as later you wont remember whay went where i know oh how i know
Yeah, usualy do that but in this case didn't mean to remove the bloody things, all is not bad though as I can figure out where the light bulg goes

dose it have a shift light if so that would explain the double + and - one set for tac and one set the limiter
Don't think it has a shift light, if it has then it never worked.
Everytime i even looked under the dash of my manx i would end up with at least 2 hours work trying to get it working again! i simply removed some guages oil pressure and co and i couldn't even get the car started for hours! Buggy wiring is the greatest hey? it seems if a buggy owner found the wiring is not working they just seemed to put a new one in on top of the existing one! i swear i had 2 or 3 in my manx! My baja is not much better.
