Is any one running a sway bar with a narrowed beam? Is there any point?
My beam is narrowed 2inches, is it any good to run one?
yes, your better to run one, there have been a couple pop up for sale here before.........a couple of companies make them
From what I've read on forums,
many people in the USA with narrowed beams do Not run sway bars...
they reckon they don't make any difference
which may be true
when driving on flat concrete highways and streets...
but the roads including highways in Northern NSW
can be rougher than a dirt/gravel road in good condition...
I will say that i haven't been running a sway bar for about a year with no problems...
its just that I snapped it off hitting a pipe in My backyard?
and haven't gotten around to installing the replacement..

Probably the same people in the US that dont need shocks huh!!
The narrower you make the leaves, the stiffer they are, therefore less need for the sway bar than std length, depending on how or where you drive.
I would install one, as it all helps handling and stability..
most spring works can make a sway bar for very little money!
What dia size would anyone recommend? Who actually runs a sway with their narrowed beam and what dia?
