Anyone know of some good and not too expensive engine engineers on the northside, I am reconditioning my motor myself but need some of the parts surfaced or cleaned.

Any help to find a good one that knows about VW's appreciated.

Yep i go to Themal edge coatings at virginia next to shell servo on sandgate road, he is a top bloke and does all engine work and is always building porsche engines, i have had many type 4 and type 1 engine parts done buy him, and the price is great also. He is currently working on Bonds 2.8 litre that i will be building, and i have two sets of connecting rods get reworked. he has the machinery to do everything.
