How the hell do you put the bonnet springs back on. This is for my 71 Fasty. There must be some way of stretching these without getting hernia????

I use a pipe or flat piece of steel with a hole in it so I can get a better grip . Over the hook end.

Thin rope or similar

attach to the bonnet before fitting it to the hinges use 2 or 3 people to fit the bonnet
