On a blade type bumper bar, do the 'mounts' or insert bits go on the front bumper and rear bumper or just rear bumper?

The bit that sits between the bumper and the bracket.

they are fitted to all ends of the brackets so you need 8 off 4 for the front bar and 4 for the rear bar
you also need the correct square underhead bolts to lock the bars in place

how many do you need ???

they tend to bend easy as well so make sure they all sit and the same height and level when sitting on there ends other wise it will throw the bar out of alignment you might have to fit the bar to the car and do a bit of pushing n bending before it gets painted or chromed check all the gaps to the body when you do this as well

nuthing worse than following a car with crooked bumpers or having too big a gaps etc etc

Agreed, crooked bumpers are frustrating

sit the car on a level service and use a tape measure at the outer edges to the floor you may have to yank n push the bar a bit also check the gaps from the outer edges to the guards these should be even as well

make sure the tyre pressure are all even before hand
