I am about to replace the rubber on the rear screen, should I use any sealant when putting the new rubber on? Rubber screen or rubber frame?
Thanks
Raf
no, use rust preventative and a new west coast metric rubber
as above
Are there not drip holes either side of frame area to allow water to go if trapped and sealant would blck these? I know there is on my Fasty would assume same on most Dubs.
I always coat under the windscreen, rear window with fish oil.. a few coats
back in old days - 60s 70s I always used windscreen sealant
which was called mastic...??
black stuff that never dried.. was always sticky
and the windscreen could be taken out and the rubber reused..
at least then You will know that it won't leak

make sure the drain holes are open and clear there should be a few in the bottom corners
and dont use sealant the new rubber will do the job
