mine are easier to find....
as they are painted yellow....
and no grease.... lol..

My engine had only done a few thousand kms'
in the 11 years I've owned it..
and the engine was overhauled 10 years ago

and the carbon was 3-4mm thick on the pistons and the heads..

I replaced one of the heads and wire brushed the heads and pistons until they were shiney..

Now, when I rev the engine, no black smoke comes out the exhaust...

I wonder if this is because of the clean pistons/heads???
