Hey guys can someone tell me what the dwell angle, Timing angle, and valve gaps for a 1600 twin port engine is?
And how do i adjust the vavle gaps??...ive done it before..along time ago, dont want to crud it up..
all help appreciatd,
thanks,
ash
rotate/turn the engine to TDC on number one (confirm by looking at the rotor button), set tappets to .006...........then rotate the engine (crank
pulley) anti clockwise 180 deg and set the tappets for cylinder 2............anti clockwise 180 deg and now set cylinder 3...............anti
clockwise 180 and set cylinder 4.
hope that makes sense
Also best to set when the engine is cold...............and I'm assuming you know how to actually adjust the tappets with a spanner, screwdriver and
feeler guages ?
