rotate/turn the engine to TDC on number one (confirm by looking at the rotor button), set tappets to .006...........then rotate the engine (crank pulley) anti clockwise 180 deg and set the tappets for cylinder 2............anti clockwise 180 deg and now set cylinder 3...............anti clockwise 180 and set cylinder 4.

hope that makes sense :smirk:

Also best to set when the engine is cold...............and I'm assuming you know how to actually adjust the tappets with a spanner, screwdriver and feeler guages ?
