Does anyone have detailed instructions of how to remove the king pins?
Or is there a website that has pics of how to do this?
Iam looking at mine and cannot work out how these things come out !
You need to press out the torsion arm link pin bushes by a hydraulic press first, then the king pin can be accessed,
or do u mean how to get off the front end ???
Just how to get them out of the spindles.
I have some new dropped spindles and want to take my old pins out and fit them onto the new spindles
OK so as per above u ned a hydraulic 10 ton press and various size drifts to do the pushing
10 ton press !
How about I buy new kingpins, could I get the old ones out with a hammer and drifts?
wouldnt matter if they got destroyed in the process

so this is a major job? whats involved with reaming the new bushes?
seems way too hard just to fit new dropped spindles.
As I dont have a ten ton press handy, would I be better off getting a garage to fit the pins and bushes?
any ideas?
you need and adjustable reamer and someone who knows how to use it not an easy job
I suggest that you get Vintage at Campsie to fit the bushings and set up the lowered axles for you 9789-1777
Cheers
I will give them a call
