What are you going to do with a set of straight cuts............
Ooooohhhh.........do tell..........
Did we have a blow up???
You're a sucker for a noisy car.....
What size are you getting built?
Are you going to have a go at building it yourself........go on you know you want too....
Now i like the sound of that......Just need to buy the turbo kit for sale on here and you could woop some serious ass........all below 3000rpm of
course....
Hey whats the deal with editing my post!
You balls to the wall....... Ha I'd like to see that..... You drive like my Nanna :P
11CAB,
That's the forum censoring your post automatically, no-one edited it. It doesn't like people saying *arse*
I thought that our sponser Mick could help with stuff like that. I got my Straight cuts years ago from a "Bug Pack" supplier, I think while
I was in Adelaide.
Just a Warning.. Straight Cuts drive you bonkers on long cruizes at freeway speeds. But I love mine around the City and Suburbs. I'd even like to
put straight cut gears in the box if it isnt too expensive. 2nd and 3rd. That would really growl........
Now, funny thing is, I've heard straight gears in the tranny don't add a lot of noise, but on a cam gear they do. Anyone got any exerience
on this?
I'm not planning on running them in my current project, strictly road (well, what passes for roads round here, and it'll spend a lot of time
cruising at 110kph.) But, when this is done, this is the scenario: it rarely rains around here, but if it does the salt flats turn into mighty mud
flats and some locals (eg, most of the mechanics) have some buggies they drag race... and there's a nice looking frame at a good price at the
recycler's...
Put your car in reverse and get up a bit of speed. Its whiniey yes? straight cut gear!
I guess that means that you will be importing from the States? :o
OK I've squared it with Nanna and she's ready and waiting to kick your butt!!
