Looks nice Rod . If it fits the early Beetle steering shaft spline it could be a Petrie? for early Karmann Ghia. Other that no idea.

are there any marks on it what so ever? there must be some on the under side???

hadn't noticed it before... but there are no markings on it except for a little symbol in the centre section that looks like the steering wheel with a "P" in the inner circle.
