Does anyone know if anyone here in oz sells the rhd glove box liners for a 63 beetle that you can mount your stereo in?
I know machine7 in uk sells them but thought I'd try here first.

Never heard of em - but i have always put my stereos in my glovebox.
Smart move.
Why dont you just do the work yourself, it would certainly be cheaper!
Bit of fiberglass will fix anything :P:P
Is it hard to make? Fibreglass is one material I haven't had much experience with.
Have made a couple. Use an old glove box in crap condition (dont wreck a mint og ) Cut out it's bottom then make a plate (with a hole for the stereo) that will fit in the front opening at your desired depth, fix the plate in position with some right angle joints, reinforce with fibreglass. Finish off with auotomotive carpet. :thumb Or if you were really keen you could make a mould and produce a complete glass version.
if you dont want to use fibreglass. i made mine fit using mdf board. same principle. just cit to shap fitted into glovebox lining with some cutout for leads then painted the face to match my woodtrim door panels.:thumb
