I've just bought my first car ^_^ VW beetle 1300 1970. It has a couple of problems identified by the NRMA check. A couple of leaks, brakes need adjusting and something to do with the axel... something is torn. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good mechanics to take my baby to.

Are there any mechanics around the Western Sydney Blue Mountains area that specialise in old Veedubs? Do you recommend going to one who does specialise in old VeeDubs? or should I go to any mechanic that specialises in European cars?
