Dash Assembly
clinker42 - September 22nd, 2008 at 11:37 AM

Hi Guys

Now dont laugh, i need to know how too assemble the dash in a 73 beetle. And no, now how too put in the speedo, or how too clip in the switches etc.

The actual process of which you do first. I have built many different cars and Im sick off assembling a dash and heaters etc, only too get nearly finished and find that a bit you thought went in first has too go in last.

Do i just put in the dash pad, then the guages and switches, then wire it and the the air vent suff and the wiper motor.

What do you guys reckon

Thanks Trevor

Bugger

Thanks Joel, but wrong dash, this one is a flat dash pad all the way along, with a glove box on the left side, it also has one speedo assembly with metal grills each side of it.

You did a good job on that instruction though.

My problem is i pulled this dash apart over 12 months ago, in that time its been getting mechanical and paint and panel, now thats finishedI cant remember how i pulled it apart. Oh well asemeble and pull apart a couple times it will be. Thanks anyway Joel
