oval front ends

with the Great Wall of Flinders just about finished (along with a reminder I got today) I'm thinking its about time my baby came home from boarding school. I need to put a front end on it though. The one on it at the moment is temporary, pretty much just holding it up off the ground.

It's going to be a faithful as possible resto job so I want to get the correct bits. So, are link pin front ends all the same? I know they will all fit, thats not the issue. When I take it to Valla in 2020 I dont want people telling me its not correct. And what about brakes?

and have you got one lying around?

the trailing arms are different of early models to say 60 on they didnt have grease seals but basically they look the same the later arms are better and probally less worn around the bearing area

the brakes wheel cylinders are 2 bolt x 6mm instead of single bolt x 8mm

the brake drums have an Oval shaped adjusting hole instead of a round one

but all of these things can be hidden and not a worry
