Just doin some pondering.

If I ran a draw through turbo, is there any reason you couldnt drain the turbo oil back into the engine via a fitting into the oil filler / pedistal (providing it was all downhill)?

Not at all....as long as it's of a reasonable diameter.

i did that with my first turbo setup
it was blow thro but the turbo sat above the alt same as where draw thro would

i tapped an elbow fitting into the back of the alt stand just below where the oil filler screws into it
worked well
initially i was gonna drain into the oil filler but was worried about oil getting into the carb thro the breather hose
