Whiteline Sawybar help needed - What does this fit??????
Special Air Service - January 14th, 2009 at 07:44 PM

I have accumulated a few sway bars over the years & I now need help to decipher what one of my bars will fit.

Its a 20mm diameter bar that is non adjustable, it looks to me as though it would be for a Link Pin Beetle front end or maybe a type 3 front end. I believe I am also missing a couple of parts (bushes, washers, threaded rods & nuts).

If you guys could have a look at the pics below & let me know what you think that would be great.

I want to sell it & can't do so until I know what it fits & whats missing.

Cheers
Brendan

1st pic is of the bar & all parts that I have.

2nd pic is how I think the linkage should be, I think there should be a length of threaded rod & 4 nuts to complete this assembly????? Then this should be duplicated on the other side.

3rd pic shows the approx. length of the trailing leg = 260mm?????

hmmm.......too big for link pin beetle, now i measured in the light of day.....

maybe split kombi, my thinking being that the bars for BJ arrangements use another "U" clamp around the trailing arms
