vwsteve - January 21st, 2009 at 10:29 AM

ive seen fan shrouds before with welsh plugs nicely blocking off the holes for the air vent to exhaust, anyone know what size welsh plug to use from memory?

ummm...36, umm...i got some not long ago, perfect size - had to knock them in, but they went in snug - put hose clamps on too just in case.

Someone probably knows, if no one posts ill check and post on the weekend.

36 sounds wrong, just came to my head - may be imperial measurement they worked in.

1 7/8" :tu:

so snug they dont even need fixing in

but good luck finding them

u will probably need someone to order them in cos its not a real common size
