I've got a square back which was already lowered abd I need to get it registered in NSW, the problem is I want to keep it low but the front tyres
scrub out when I turn.
I have just lifted it and have noticed it doesn't have any front shocks either.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction on how others slam their type 3's yet still get a decent amount of turning clearence please ?
I have just put new 165 tyres all around it too....if that helps ???
hi mate
ok this is what i know (most know more)
when it's low is will scrub on full lock you can wind out screws on the steering box so they dont the you won't turn tight
2nd when it's low real low? it might be to low for stock shocks so they wont work you would need lowerd shocks (short)
i would after rego get some short shocks put it back down and set the screws so the tyres just dont rub on full lock
post a pic so we can see how low it is..
stock 165/R15 tyres will rub up front when lowered... im running 135s up front on my lowered square but there are other options (i will be putting
185/55s on soon) see this thread for more ideas.

standard shocks should be alright unless it is nearly scraping pan.
