What year is this Chassis Number?

Hi All,
Can you tell me a good reference point for Aussie Chassis Numbers. Recently got this beetle and want to verfiy year.

Chassis Number appears to be 1535443
Body Numebr c2741

Any help appreciated.

No i thinks its just over 1.5 million so it would be late 56 ???

Hey thanks for reply's. I deliberatley didn't say if it was oval or big window to sway any answers. I think the second didgit could be a '6'. And yes it is big window with semaphores.

Any ideas on year? I was thinking 58 but could be 57 maybe???????
