I am checking out a watercooled t3 today. Its a 86 model. What are your thought on these engines. I have been told it was reco'd 4 years back as well as the auto trans.

i owned 1 for 5 years
the engine was just great went like stinf with auto my mate had the same motor in his twin cab and most hills i could leave him no worries but with a 5 speed
so if you want opinion they are just great would have another if i could afford 1 just make sure that the CORRECT WATER ADDERTIVE HAS BEEN USED they mite use another just as good but it's not and if its silver with sunroof grab it known that bus for 5-6 years and what he tells you is correct
