Vomit out of Leather Upholstery
blup58 - April 20th, 2009 at 08:34 AM

G'day All

My little fella had a massive vomit on the way back from willowbank yesterday.

Unfortunately this was in my 1 week old new work car that has leather suede seats (perforated holes).

He contolled jis spew well most of it went into his lap but soome has trickled down on to the seat.

I have cleaned most of it up and there is no stains - just a slight smell.

Any ideas on how to treat this - steam clean seats???

Any one know of someone who can do this around Brisbane?

Brad

That is seriously the worst smell. have it done asap before it sticks.

Talk about weird, while I was reading this my cat decided to have a big chunder on the carpet next to me.:grind:

God I hate cleaning up spew.

On the bright side, it's not as bad as seeing a dog eat their own spew afterwards:spin:

Some Bi carb might help with the smell, sprinkle some on the affected area and leave a little bit in a jar lid while the car is parked up. It's well known for absorbing smells.

Regards,

Matt.

Maybe baking soda or something like that? Maybe test it on an off cut first.
