Hi to all, Vw Bug owner here from Ireland.

I have an issue I hope someone has some info about.

I just purchased a 66 Beetle - engine no f1149216 - which was made in Australia.

It is a small window 60's the European 63 model but it is a 1300 Delux so has the newer engine ( I Think)

My issue at the moment is getting the corect distributor cap , rotor and points for the disi that is fitted.

It is a Bosch , Made in Australia, and stamped 706.
The rotor spindle seems narrower than the ones fitted to care over here, even my freinds 56 has a 14.3 mm rotor shaft but mine seems to be 13mm(12.93).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
