LOL u must have used US Gallons to do the conversion as there different to Imperial

8.8 imperial gallons works out to be 40 Litres

The imperial measurement system is shite. Stick with litres.

Mate when we were young and running these little cars around the capacity was gallons!

I remember as a young bloke, if my fuel tank was really, really empty, I could just squeeze $8.00 worth of petrol into it.
