Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone know the part no's off the otp of their heads for replacement dist cap and rotor for the 009.

I have GB514 and GB529 written down but nobody seems to stock them. Surely this isnt right, the VW engine is the DIY engine of the world!!

Anyway if someone could confirm the part nos it would be appreciated.

just go to super cheap they have them there they are about $40

points for a 009 are GB534 from memory
529 are the 73 on with no pivot pin

and the cap escapes me but if u look in the books its the one that 71-72 1600 superbugs use

i got some BERU bits - german cap n rotor the other day at volkspower here in melb..
they were not dear and fitted up sweet
give em a call n order em maybe..

Bosch parts number for a 009 cap is 03 010 and the rotor is 04 033.

i found my old cap box the number on the side is 5207E if this helps
