Hi

Thinking of putting carpet in the Kombi if you have carpet throughout please let me know if
you are happy or unhappy and what the costs might be. Also would like to renew most of my door cards again any ideas on costs or a good trimmer in Sydney or close by.

Regards

Gary

Do you mean carpet under the front seats too where the thin rubber covering was?

I covered that area myself with stretchy carpet, cutting out where the jack and brake fluid openings are and putting flaps with velcro on. It cost me $100 inm materials. I would think a trimmer would charge about $400 to do that bit, and $400 to make the floor carpets.

I didn't actually replace the original thick rubber floor mats, but being flat, it would be easier for a trimmer to make. It would cost more if you wanted all edges overlocked. More again if you got under floor insulation as well.
