Its to a 1969 irs pan, the bearings in the arm. i been trying to pry and hammer a screwdriver between teh mating surfaces of the seal and bearing...
no luck to get the seal out.
even got a decent socket and extension with a big hammer to try knockin it out from the outside. is there a big circlip or sumfin holding it?
I don't have a bearing puller, but if anyone can suggest some bush mechanic methods they would bemuchly apreciated. i tried to pull it out with a
spring compressor and a differnt nut setup, it simply just kicked it with the inaminate bearing not budging.
thanks,
Chris.
I think it will make it much easier with the removal of the circlip (46) first Chris! Of coarse dig the seal (45) out first to expose the circlip.
Hope that helps.

Why are You taking the bearings out???
LEE
After seeing what he's already done trying Lee it would now be advisable to renew them!!
