Ok I have got a set of 40mm webers and they look in pretty good nick. But it has been a long time since they were run. Should I get them reconditioned or just give them a go as is. Also where in Brisbane is good to take them to if I am to get them worked on.

You should pull them to pieces and put a rebuild kit through them and spray them with carb cleaner.

Gaskets dry out and crack and bits of dust turn to sediment and get stuck

I just got some rebuilt i asked how long i could store them and was told a few months then the diaphram will harden unless i keep it moist with white spirit.
