Lowered rear shocks?
alien8 - October 7th, 2009 at 03:30 PM

So I know that when you lower the front you usually run with a lowered shock or strut insert but what about the rear?

Do the part places carry a shock for a lowered rear or is it the norm to just use the stock shocks?

If any one runs lowered rear shocks where did you get them , what brand and part no.?

Many thanks Brad.

you can use normal ones (within OE suspension stroke limits) because the bump stop is separate

I was just thinking about ride quality with rear gas shocks. You would think the ride would be softer with a shorter gas shock ?

no, disrgarding bump stops, the ride height doesn't affect ride quality. Shock/spring rate does
