Hey all. what after-market intake setup goes well for a stock 1600?
Kadrons. Call rod penrose,he generally has some 2nd hand sets from the USA. I have recently converted from webers to kadrons and couldn't be happier.
Some people don't like them but most of my friends have them and they are fine. They are good value if you buy 2nd hand,if you are gonna buy new,
spend the extra 400bucks or so and get webers jetted and tuned by a pro. I like kadrons, easy to tune and after you tune them you pretty much don't
touch them again.
cheers
Mick.
Single DCNF.
Dual 36 DRLA Dellorto's.
I would say that wouldn't I Colonel.
Hahaha. There is nothing wrong with your setup izac, its just mega overkill for the 1600, but good if you going to be going up to 1776/1915. The
dellorto's are very smooth though and give the 1600 heaps more responce.
I can't say i know what the dcnf is from experiance, but a few chaps on here thing they are great.
dual 36 dell's surely aren't overkill haha.... even dual 40's aren't when jetted right... Right?
I mean money wise..
Anything can work well if its jetted right.
ohh haha I was gonna say!
yeah i reckon man. they are the ducks nuts on a 1600!
and there are cheap sets out there... you just gotta look
rarer than rocking horse shit but! gotta look hard
yeah in Aus thats true, but if you look on the samba you shall find

$ ?
I cant seem to find any new Single DCNF setups (for under 400 bux).. but i suppose they wouldnt run too well with the autostick system.
Eraser, you wont find them new (as far as i know....?). only second hand. i think the only new weber similar is progresssive and most dont like
them.
I may have a 40 dcnf with manifold avaliable... if you're interested, PM me.
350 for the pdsits, theyre solex's. Couldnt use pm for some reason
