I'm always keen on seeing a bit of forced induction.
Show us your super chargers!
How did you go about fuel management? carbs? fuel pump? pressure regulators? blow through/draw through? boost control?
Cheers!
Chris.

Thanks mate :P
the sc12's aren't to badly priced these days...
I assume they have the same electric clutch setup as the sc14's?
I will look for that thread.
What pressure were u running?
I know of a SC12 and Dellorto DHLA45 if you are interested
Located in Sydney

keep us updated
freeegin psyko Dave!
what kinda psi were ya running?
Crazzzy
Haha, should give me a demo sometime lol
All those combinations are in the past and no longer exist.
The old clunker blower had 28psi on the 1775 engine and ran a best of 10.65@127mph.
About 275hp.
The dual blower had as much as 42psi with smaller cam and heads.(as in the middle picture),
final cam and head combo was 37ps, which was how it was when I crashed it in 2002.
About 460 hp and engine sizes from 2827cc and up to 2965cc when it crashed.
That is insane! And i imagine expensive. sorry to hear of your misfortunes... was that the tube frame car that you sold to the other fella by any chance? looked pretty wild (just the body chassis and wheels alone)

the twin superchargers are now on the CBB drag bug yes?
I bought my Semiauto Beetle January 26th 2006 when I was 16.
The previous owner had put a Fuji Heavy Industries Supercharger on it. Was running a side draught 2" SU carby.
It was massively overdriven and ended up blowing up. But up until then it made some crazy torque! Would easily drive up the Toowoomba ranges in top
gear accelerating. Went hard for a little 1500, the previous owner had it dynoed and it made about 66hp from memory.
I'll throw a picture up if I can find one.

Oh, and guess what I grabbed off a mate the other day, an SC12 and an SC14 superchargers. Really want to put one on my Baja, the torque would be such
an asset turning big wheels offroad.
Smiley
i still have one of it
it was a little subaru AMR300 blower off a 3 cyl vivo
there only good for small engines
That's my girl, only rated for about 700cc's or something like that. Pity it was on an engine twice that size!!
Maybe two of them, one over each head.
Smiley
its been done
theres a guy on here that did it just after i finished mine
if u have alook in my thread he posted a pic of it somewhere
its on a purple buggy
That looks awesome!
Will do.
At least on a buggy/baja you have way more room to play with.

Hey Joel, did you think the S/C was better money spent than a large borer type 1 engine? i know its different types of power... but can you give some insight?
There was a lot of time in the machine shop to make all tha stuff run.
The case on the 1775cc engine was stock magnesium.
The big engine was NOT a type 4 boat anchor.
It was an aftermarket version of the type 1 from Pauter in the USA.
I DID use the Wasserboxer case for a while,(ran a 10.30 at 130mph), and fitted a 90mm billet crank in there,
but the cam need more room,
so the Pauter was chosen because it had the cam moved own 6mm more,
and had a lid in the top for bearing inspections.
There were a 'few' dollars spent,
but never all at once.
Just a bit at a time, for each upgrade, over many years.
Your an artist Dave...
wish i was ur apprentice
Even the muffins i hear are good!
This will be my new setup
