T3 Trakka Switch: anybody know what it does?
dusto81 - October 18th, 2009 at 11:48 AM

Hi Dubbers,

I've had my T3 Trakka for quite a while and was wondering the pictured (below) switch does? As per picture it is located right of the steering column. It has 2 black wires that come out of it that lead over the main wiring loom and then it gets too hard to follow. Any ideas?

I was thinking it could be something to do with the second battery system, but that 2nd battery still receives charge if its switched up or down.

Anyways I'd love to know if anybody has an answer. Thanks heaps.

Cheers,
Dustin

It looks like an aftermarket switch and the fact that it has 2 black wires coming out points to this.Is there power at either of the wires?

What Year is it ??? I have an 87 Trakka and there is no switch there. I do however have about 5 million switches on the other side of the steering column installed by the PO which i have yet to figure out what for ;)

Don't have the car at the moment to check for power, but driving lights seem quite possible. I'll check when I get it back.

I was thinking it might be a specific Trakka swith, so at least one possibility ticked off.

If nothing else, the laugh I got from the garage door makes asking the question all worth while!!

Dustin
