I have been trying to find online and in the books I have the answer(s) to these questions, can anyone help please?
Regarding Oval windows.......when did the front windscreen glass and the side glass behind the doors change from the original split window
Beetle's?
I read somewhere, but now I cannot find it, that it was in the 1957 series cars, is this correct?

AFAIK the windscreen glass was the same in split and ovals
when ovals finished they sqaured off the top corners of the windscreen abit but i dont think the side glass or door glass changed in 6 volt bugs once
the one piece windows in splits stopped which was about 51 or 52

the front screens where the same up till Aug 57
the rear side windows were same up till 68 model in Aussie
the split rear window change in March 52
