Okay, got nothing on today so im gunna do some wor on my bug, the list so far is,

-Change front rims to black ones
-Replace old hubcaps with new
-Change headlight rings to black ones
-Put in new glovebox
-Replace glovebox latch
-Hose clamp all lines in the engine bay
-Carpet around pedals
-Replace throw out bearing in the 64.

Okay so to do most of these things i should be alright but there is a few things i have searched how to do but havent found anything.

*Firstly, the glovebox, how do i put the hood opening latch into the new glovebox, i dont wannna have to cut a massive hole to fit the whole thing in there.

*Secondly i bought a glovebox latch but i cant get the nut off it, the catch sits to high even when the knob is twisted to its maximum. I have tried with pliers and cant seem to get it off.

*The throw out bearing that was in the 64 is shot this is it,


I bought one like this one to replace it,


Can i use this one or not.
