Any hints guys,
I'm new to the volksie scene so haven't come to grips with the ins and outs of my bus yet.
77 twin carby 2 litre camper.
She idles lovely when cold but after she gets up to temperature she is idling too fast. About 1500rpm.
Running nice so no reason to think the mixtures are off.
The two idle screws, i can back off away from the body of the carbs so something else is stopping the thing from shutting back.
There are 2 other knurled adjusters further forward (closer to the front) that i'm not sure of their function so i haven't tinkered with them.
I've checked the automatic choke butterflies and they are fully open when warm so they are not the culprit.
I am used to setting idle and mixture screws on single cylinder dirt bikes so i understand their function and setting but don't want to go there yet, one step at a time.
What i need is some diagrams of the carbs pointing out which doover-lacky does what.
can anyone help?
Checked the accelerator peddle and it is shutting off and there is some slop up front so no issues there either.

There is a central idle circuit ,essentially a 3rd carby added to the left carb the adjustment for idle speed is on the top of it ,for a step by step guide to adjusting go to

I need to get a decent manual as i like looking at diagrams as a bit of reassurance.
Found the culprit, the idle screw on top of the lhs carbie had worked its way out apparantly, i only could see the two adjusters on the linkages.
Got a lot to learn.
