Wondering weather there is any difference with stock type IV valve springs between the solid lifter engines and the later '78, '79 hydraulic cam engines. Heard that there is two different spring pressures available.

Maybe somebody that has a parts book could post the appropriate page that shows valve springs for the type IV's

I don't think there is a difference Matt.

A Porsche mechanic with a wealth of knowledge ( VW too) said I should check as he thought there was two different spreng tensions available. I was hoping someone with a parts book could crossreference.
