74 standard bug vs 74 Super Bug

Hi All,

Will a 74 standard bug bonnet fit a 74 Super Bug????

I don't think so. Different shape to suit the Macpherson struts, windshield shape and spare tyre.

Correct me if I'm wrong - not an expert.

nope a 74 super bonnet is smaller then a 71 super.
and wider then all the rest of the ball joint 74 bugs:crazy:

New to this and the world of bugs, what a great site! Thanks colonel, I bought the super bug knowing nothing, just doing it up a bit now, need a few more items though.
